OSRAM SYLVANIA has a challenging opportunity in Wellsboro, PA for an experienced Production Team Leader to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations in a 24/7, union work force environment with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
First line coordination of production staff. Provides strong leadership, clear direction and motivation to a skilled workforce. Responsible for employee scheduling and performance issues. Oversees equipment/machinery to ensure proper working order. Responsible for production output and quality. Participates in daily production planning. Responsible for all facets of the factory during off shifts, holidays and weekends.
Qualifications
Position requires a balanced combination of formal education and demonstrated leadership skills of a technical workforce.
Technical degree and/or experience is preferred. Must be skilled at organizing, planning, trouble-shooting, and executing instructions with strong follow-up skills. Strong people skills are essential. Interested applicants must be willing to work nights and weekends.
